The problem causes total freezes when the system tries to enter unsupported sleep mode C-State 6 (C6).

Workaround
The problem could be fixed by changing C_state (energy saving). Here are the steps to change the C_state:
The Linux C-state sometimes is set to 9 and overdue the BIOS C-state.

Execute cat /sys/module/intel_idle/parameters/max_cstate
If result greater than 1:
1- Edit file /etc/default/grub where is the line
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=”” and change by
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=”intel_idle.max_cstate=1”
2- Execute command sudo update-grub
3- Restart the system
Execute cat /sys/module/intel_idle/parameters/max_cstate
